The Partridge Family Wikia

Tracy Partridge is the fifth and final child of Shirley Partridge, the others being Keith, Laurie, Danny and Chris. In the group Tracy plays the tambourine and does some back up vocals.

Background[]

Tracy was delivered by Jim Lucas. Her father died six months before the start of the series. At some point Tracy and her siblings started a garage band, with Tracy as the tambourinist.

On the series[]

After the band's previous singer, Gloria Steineman, comes down with the mumps, Tracy and her siblings talk Shirley into singing Gloria's part on the recordings. Danny, with Tracy tagging along, gets Reuben Kincaid to manage them and gets a record deal. Within four months, they're performing at Caesar's Palace. During their first live performance, Tracy and her siblings are paralyzed with stage fright until Shirley tells them to close their eyes and imagine they're still in the garage.

During the first season, the family goes on tour to places including Hawaii,[2] Paris,[3] and Canada.[4]

Looks[]

Tracy is a little freckled, pale skinned girl with medium length, semi straight red hair. She has a sweet, quiet voice.
