Princess Genevieve is the princess of an unnamed European country.
Background[]
Genny, as her friends call her, speaks with a flawless American accent. Her country gets 12.4 inches of rain on average, and its main export is textiles. She travels a lot for meetings with important people from other countries, but what she really wants is to be free and travel by herself. The U.S. State Department sponsors a visit by Genny to the United States in order to discuss trade agreements, and they arrange for her to spend a few days in San Pueblo because she's a Partridge Family fan.
On the series[]
Genny briefly meets the Partridges at the San Pueblo Airport. Hours later, she's delivered to the Partridge house by her security team for dinner. Annoyed by the Partridges' excessively formal behavior, Genny says that she wants to eat with a normal American family and tells them to act more naturally. After dinner, Genny wants to be alone with Keith Partridge, but they're interrupted by Valentine, who wants to take Genny back to her hotel in two minutes. Genny suggests that Keith "kidnap" her and take her on a real date. Later that night, Keith sneaks into Genny's hotel disguised as a bellhop, smuggles Genny out under a tablecloth, and takes her to a drive-in movie. A paparazzo takes a picture of the two of them kissing, which appears in the San Pueblo Daily the next day. Genny's handlers are furious and accuse Keith of causing an international incident. Despite the scandal, Genny attends a Partridge Family concert that night. The next day, she says goodbye to the Partridges at the airport, gets into her plane, and flies back home.
