Lester Braddock is a student at San Pueblo High School.

Lester recently transferred from Oakland High. During the short time he's lived in San Pueblo, he's taken half the girls in school to Muldoon's Point, including Keith Partridge's current girlfriend, Linda.
On the series[]
Lester asks out Laurie Partridge, who's in study hall with him. Laurie thinks he took two weeks to ask her out because he's shy and introverted. Keith and Danny Partridge, who have heard of Lester's reputation, follow Laurie and Lester in the bus as the two of them go to the movies, then to Muldoon's Point. Lester tells Laurie that guys spread false rumors about him because he's so attractive, and that Laurie is one of the few girls willing to get to know him as a person instead of trying to make out with him. Laurie believes him. Danny interrupts their conversation by knocking on the car, thinking Lester's about to make a move on Laurie. A few days later, Lester is in the locker room getting ready for P.E. when Keith goes up to him, apologizing for ruining his and Laurie's date. Keith now also believes that Lester is the victim of false rumors, and he gives Lester a ringside ticket for the Partridge Family's concert at Redwood Lodge so he can take Laurie out for a burger afterwards. Lester accepts. After the concert, Lester takes Laurie on a date. This time Lester behaves completely differently from how he did on their first date. He becomes very pushy until she injures his arm fighting him off. Then she walks home.
