In I Am Curious... Partridge, the Partridges play the song at a convention of all men. Shirley Partridge is worried that the people in the audience have read the lurid rumors about her in San Pueblo Today. During the group's second bow, the kids put on fake beards to tease Shirley about the article's claim that she can't resist a man in a beard.
