I'm into Something Good is a song covered by the Partridge Family.
In real life[]
The song was written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King and was previously recorded by Earl-Jean and Herman's Hermits. It was never released on an official Partridge Family album, but can be found on Missing Pieces.
On the series[]
In Beethoven, Brahms, and Partridge, the Partridge Family performs the song at a nightclub on a low stage with an arched stained glass window in the background. Walter Yost and Rachel Westing are in the audience. Rachel complains that she doesn't understand how Keith Partridge can be satisfied playing such simplistic music, but Walter tells her that it accomplishes what it sets out to do: making people happy.
Al in the Family reuses the performance video from "Beethoven, Brahms, and Partridge," recut to remove Rachel and Mr. Yost. The last few seconds play as background music as the Partridges drive home and unload the bus.
