How Long Is Too Long is a Partridge Family song.
In real life[]
The song was written by John Bahler and Tony Asher. Bahler came up with the title and the melody, and Asher wrote most of the lyrics. It can be found on Bulletin Board. It was also released on The Partridge Family Greatest Hits in 1989, despite the fact that it wasn't a hit, because it was the favorite Partridge Family song of one of the label executives.[1]
On the series[]
In The Diplomat, the Partridge Family performs the song at a nightclub with Howard Lipton in the audience.
In Keith and Lauriebelle, the Partridge Family performs the song at a restaurant on a stage decorated with fake vines and grapes, with a drawing of a city in the background.
