On the series[]
After Goose finds out that Keith Partridge lost the contest to Laurie, Goose and his friends block Keith's path after school and make fun of him. Goose tries to punch Keith in the face, but Laurie grabs him and judo flips him. Goose is furious at Keith for indirectly causing him to get beaten up by a girl. He sends Keith threatening notes and phone calls. Keith manages to avoid Goose until Saturday, when the Partridge Family performs at San Pueblo's 103rd anniversary festival. After the show, Goose and his friends corner Keith behind the stage. Laurie and Shirley Partridge both try to stop Goose, but Keith tells them to let him handle it. Keith refuses to fight, but instead stands still and challenges Goose to hit him. Goose backs down, telling Keith that he has a lot of guts. He and his friends leave.
