Doris is the girlfriend of Keith Partridge. When Gloria Neugast is staying with the Partridge Family, she pressures Keith into taking her to Muldoon's Point. While they're there, Doris recognizes Keith. Keith, embarrassed, introduces Doris and Mrs. Neugast to each other. Doris says, "I read about your type, Keith!" while other kids make fun of him for bringing a middle-aged woman to Muldoon's Point. It isn't until later that Keith realizes that if Doris went to Muldoon's Point without him, in someone else's car, she must have been cheating on him.
