Andy & David are identical twins and singers. They normally dress the same and go everywhere together. They are discovered by Reuben Kincaid, who books a recording session for them and then takes them to the Partridge house. As soon as they arrive, they both fall in love with Laurie Partridge. Laurie can't bring herself to tell them that they're too young for her, so she takes them on a "date" to an ice cream shop. Then they tell Laurie that she'll have to choose between them. Later, they decide that Laurie can't choose between them because they're so similar, so they tell her that from now on they're going to "dress different, think different, be different," and that they're going to record and perform separately. They start wearing different shirts, but continue to act the same and do everything together. Keith and Danny Partridge come up with a plan for Laurie to meet Andy and David at the Taco stand, where Mike Weejack and Skip Radnitz pretend to be romantically involved with Laurie. Instead of being discouraged, the twins declare that they're ready to fight for their true love. Shirley Partridge talks to the boys and tells them that they shouldn't let a passing crush affect their relationship as brothers. She's so vague that they don't know what she's talking about at first, but later they think it over and realize she's right. They meet Laurie and tell her they don't have a crush on her anymore. They go to the studio to record Say It Again, and later perform it live at the same club where the Partridge Family performed earlier in the episode.
